What is TimeWise® Age-Fighting Eye Cream?

GOOD GRAVY MISS DAISY!  How many ‘eye creams’ do Mary Kay carry in the TimeWise® line alone? 

 

Last time I checked we only have one set of eyes.  Surely we don’t need multiple creams?  I’d be happy with just ONE–if it was effective and tightened and brightened.  I’m not fussy.

 

Honestly it’s like going to the grocery store and staring for hours at a dozen different brands of peanut butter.

Hmmm…maybe peanut butter would work under the eyes?

 

So how is this TimeWise® eye product different than the rest tell me? 

 

Well, honestly I don’t know.  TimeWise® Age-Fighting Eye Cream plans to “deliver age-fighting benefits” to the delicate eye area.  It’s rich, luxurious and “was created to dramatically minimize the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles caused by sun, stress and fatigue.”

 

Nice to know.  And don’t the other creams do that too?

 

Sheesh.

How does TimeWise® Age-Fighting Eye Cream work?

Well I’m assuming you dot TimeWise® Age-Fighting Eye Cream around the eyes.  I can’t imagine you’d get many results rubbing into your hiney.  I’m just sayin’…

 

I would love to give you more information than that.  If Mary Kay gave a comprehensive list of ingredients I could break them down and tell you the mechanics of how this product works.

 

Unfortunately Mary Kay doesn’t give any kind of ingredient list.

 

Not a jot or a tittle…(don’tcha love that expression?)

Does TimeWise® Age-Fighting Eye Cream have powerful anti-aging ingredients?

Dunno.  I sure hope so considering it’s an “Age-Fighting” eye cream.  But again Mary Kay doesn’t divulge this information.  Always be leery of a company that fails to cover ingredient information–even one as reputable as Mary Kay. 

 

Just remember this–’fluffy’ ingredients that sit on the surface and don’t sink to the lower epidermis do DIDDLY SQUAT.  (Yes, that’s a technical term.)

Man–I can have a world of fun with $26.  Life as a writer has made me exceptional at stretching the green stuff until it squeaks. 

 

Would I spend $26 on an eye cream?

 

Only if it was “that good.”

 

(Like Moose Tracks Sundae with whipped cream good.)

Is TimeWise® Age-Fighting Eye Cream worth trying?

Based on consumer reviews, cost and lack of ingredients I would say–prolly not.  I found a lot of the positive consumer reviews were from “MARY KAY CONSULTANTS” which is frankly hysterical.  YOU PEDDLE THOSE MARY KAY WARES GIRLS!  WHOOT!

 

Ladies–I like to KNOW what’s in my skin care products.  It kinda make me warm and fuzzy inside.  I call it “Personal Care Insurance.”  Education could be the difference between healthy glowing skin and that heated glow from a nice, warm–IRRITATED FACE, after all.
