What is Mary Kay Timewise® Firming Eye Cream?

It’s a vacuum cleaner!  A dryer sheet!  A cream donut!  (Yes, that was sarcasm. I know it’s the Devil’s humor, but I just can’t help myself. My mother would be so proud.)

 

Mary Kay Timewise® Firming Eye Cream is a–FIRMING EYE CREAM.  You apply it to the delicate eye area and hope for the best.  Mary Kay products are both famous, and infamous for being expensive and either ineffective, or irritating to the skin.

 

(I belong to the latter group.)

 

Yes, if ever I want to have a bad day, I start it off with a nice bottle of something Mary Kay.  I will be swollen, red and have at least one blemish by the end of the day.

 

But that’s just me, and I’m trying to write a non-bias review. 

 

Let’s look at Mary Kay Timewise® Firming Eye Cream with a more gentle eye…(pardon the pun.)

How does Mary Kay Timewise® Firming Eye Cream work?

According to Mary Kay, Timewise® Firming Eye Cream is “a luxuriously rich eye cream so advanced it firms, brightens, provides intense moisturization, plus minimizes fine lines and wrinkles. With new TimeWise® Firming Eye Cream, you can have it all.”

 

Really?  Like a million bucks, a male maid from Scandinavia and small thighs?

 

Or just eye skin like a twenty year-old albino who stays out of the sun?

 

I’m still not convinced.  Someone convince me, please.

 

Does Mary Kay Timewise® Firming Eye Cream have powerful anti-aging ingredients?

Couldn’t tell ya.  Mary Kay’s official website provides only a small ‘blurb’ on each product and that blurb does NOT include ingredient information.

 

How can you judge a product without ingredients?  How do we know if there’s anything in it that sinks below surface level and delivers the product where it will actually repair damage?  If there’s anything to increase collagen production and elasticity?  Or antioxidants to heal cellular damage by free radicals?

 

Or anything at all that works?

 

All of Mary Kay’s skin products–including this one–are an ingredient mystery.

 

Maybe Mary Kay Timewise® Firming Eye Cream has a magic formula created by fairy princesses, and so secret they could tell you…but then they’d have to turn you into a warthog.

If you’re a die hard Mary Kay fan–adore the color pink–and don’t mind spending lots of money on products that are “just okay” I’d say go for it.

 

For the rest of you–spend the money on a better eye cream.

 

Consumer reviews are mixed–some people swear by this product.  Others simply swear.

 

But here’s a little secret–you can find this product for really cheap on certain websites that will remain nameless.  Buy via that route and then maybe you won’t feel so jipped.
