Mornin’.  I could probably use a product like TimeWise® Targeted-Action® Eye Revitalizer right now–considering the swelling under my eyes could be used as trampolines for a flea circus.

 

(Yeah I know–I too am amazed at how my brain works.)

 

TimeWise® Targeted-Action® Eye Revitalizer is YET ANOTHER eye treatment cream from Mary Kay.  There’s so many we could span the world seven times with them, spreading world peace and moisturized under- eye skin to all.

 

Naw, I made that statistic up.

 

But honest to the Big Man Upstairs, this is the fourth Mary Kay eye cream I’ve reviewed.  Somebody shoot me now.

 

TimeWise® Targeted-Action® Eye Revitalizer is for puffiness and dark circles under the eyes.  Here are the claims:

 

• Diminish dark circles.
• Depuff under eyes.
• Discover real results. After just two weeks, 7 out of 10 women said their dark circles and under-eye puffiness were less noticeable.

So do your eyes look older than the rest of your face?  Fed-up with people saying, “Man, you look tired today.  Are you tired?”

 

YES WE’RE TIRED!  Tired of puffy eyes and dark circles that even 8 hr sleep can’t annihilate. 

 

(AND TIRED OF TACKLESS PEOPLE who need to look in the mirror themselves.)

How does TimeWise® Targeted-Action® Eye Revitalizer work?

 

Mary Kay claims TimeWise® Targeted-Action® Eye Revitalizer is “so powerful it can reduce the appearance of both dark circles and undereye puffiness in just two weeks!”

 

It’s a lightweight serum with “a exclusive blend of ingredients to address the multiple causes of dark circles and undereye puffiness.”

 

With a roller ball metal tip that feels cool against your skin, the product is evenly distributed without mess and fuss and goes straight to work refreshing the eye area.

 

Or does it? 

 

Let’s look at the ingredients.  They’ll tell us.  Unlike people with their eye on the dollar and blown-up promises, ingredients never lie. 

Does TimeWise® Targeted-Action® Eye Revitalizer have powerful anti-aging ingredients?

Er…okay…PROBLEM!  Where’s the frickin’ ingredients Mr. Bigglesworth?  Somebody throw me a bone!  We need the info… (Yes, I adore Austin Powers.  Get over it.)

 

Mary Kay may state TimeWise® Targeted-Action® Eye Revitalizer contains an “exclusive blend of ingredients”, but where are they?  Seems Mary Kay doesn’t disclose the product ingredients on their website.

Sorry folks, I can’t give you this information.  But it seems from consumer testimonials (from outside of the official website) that TimeWise® Targeted-Action® Eye Revitalizer is not really an anti-aging product per say.  It’s not super nourishing and doesn’t address fine lines and wrinkles.  It’s more for reducing swelling and lightening the skin–which contributes to making you look younger. 

 

Certainly less tired…

• Many consumers found this product irritating to the skin or simply ineffective

$35 for .34 fl oz

Is TimeWise® Targeted-Action® Eye Revitalizer worth trying?

I have to tell you Mary Kay products personally irritate my skin, break me out in pimples like a prepubescent teen and otherwise aggravate the pants off me (though not literally.)   And I’m not alone.  Some consumers claimed that this product dried out the skin under their eyes, or was so irritating it made their eyes swell up. 

 

Yes, some of us are sensitive.  We also like kittens.

 

Without an ingredient listing it’s hard for me to really judge this product based on anything other than my own bad experiences with Mary Kay and the hoards of non-bias testimonials out there. 

 

But based on those two factors I’d say–RUN LIKE HELL. 

 

There are far better way of spending $35 bucks.  And hey, a couple of spoons run under a cold tap and placed gently under the eyes for ten minutes works really good for swelling.  My grandmother taught me that. For dark circles–keep looking and embrace them at Halloween.
